Infosys Q2 net profit rises 4.7%

Following broad-based growth, Infosys Ltd. increased its sales outlook on Thursday and revealed a 4.7% increase in net profit for the September quarter.

Compared to earnings of Rs 6,212 crore during the same time previous year, net profit of Rs 6,506 crore from July to September increased by 4.7%. As to the business statement, there was a 2.2% increase in comparison to the previous quarter.

Revenue at Rs 40,986 crore increased by 4.2%.

Infosys increased its revenue forecast for the 2024–25 fiscal year for the second quarter in a row. It has raised its revenue growth forecast from the 3–4% band it provided in the previous quarter to 3.75–4.50% for the fiscal year that runs from April 2024 to March 2025.
